These things are adding clutter & you don’t even realize it

Have you ever received a fabulous hand-me-down or a thoughtful gift from a neighbor? While these kind gestures are great, they often add to the ‘stuff’ that slowly but surely fills our homes and lives with clutter.

But it’s not just gifts - there are sneaky culprits everywhere, quietly contributing to the chaos.

Here are a few tips to keep these at bay and your home a minimal peaceful space:

1️⃣ Wait before finding a spot for new items. If you don’t use it within a month, perhaps you don’t need it.

2️⃣ For every new item that enters your home, let one go. This balance prevents accumulation.

3️⃣ Instead of holding onto physical items for sentimental reasons, take photos and create digital albums.

4️⃣ Politely decline items you know won’t serve you or your space. It’s okay to say no to avoid clutter. It’s okay to set these boundaries!

5️⃣ Dedicate time each week to assess and clear out any unneeded items. Keeping ahead of clutter makes it manageable.

6️⃣ Change your mindset, you probably don’t want these free things. You don’t need them either.

It’s not about having less for the sake of it, but about making room for more of what truly matters. ✨
